The Washington Center scholarships have been secured for the Spring 2009 semester only. If students do not participate, we will loose these funds. Please announce this great opportunity to your classes and share this information as well as the attached flyer with your faculty.
The Washington Center offers students the opportunity to explore internships tailored to specific interests while also engaging in high quality academic courses, lectures by national leaders, and first class housing, all in Washington D.C. This program offers something for every major and every interest. There are scholarships currently available for Xavier students. Students must be a 2nd semester sophomore, junior or senior with at least a 2.75 GPA to apply. More information about the program can be found at www.twc.edu.
Students should Visit http://www.twc.edu/students/how_to_apply.shtml to apply. [The Washington Center also offers a printable application that can be viewed before starting the online application.] For more info contact Ms. R.J. Harrison, ext. 5751 or rjharris@xula.edu.
Application Fee Waivers are available, students must be on the verge of submitting the application in order to obtain access to the fee waivers. Once students have reached the end of the application they must contact Ms. Henry, during regular business hours (her information is below) of the Washington Center, and she will give them information on how to proceed.
